About Me

Having grown up in a musical family with a mother whose whole life has revolved around singing and performing and a guitar-obsessed dad, music has always been a huge part of who I am. I started with piano lessons at age 7. At age 9, I started to write my own music and teach myself guitar to accompany my singing. This is when I knew that singing and songwriting was what I was born to do.

In 2015, I went on to gain a music degree from University of Liverpool, specializing in composition, performance and music technology.  Since graduating, I have performed all over London, including at renowned music venues such as Ronnie Scott's, The Half Moon and The Water Rats as well as playing at several festivals across the UK alongside artists such as All Saints, Pixie Lott and Mystery Jets. I've had the privilege of supporting other well known artists like Tom Grennan and American Young and have made several appearances on radio including BBC Introducing shows.

For many years, I channelled my energy into performing and releasing music under the alias 'Amelia Lappert' and recorded a number of singles and an EP in London studios, which I then went on to release on Spotify, Apple Music and other online digital platforms. I also performed both my original music and covers at numerous private functions and events. Alongside my writing and performing, I have been teaching singing since 2015 to people of all ages and abilities. Since my wedding in July 2022, I've been writing custom-made, personalized love songs, using the stories of people's relationships and putting them into song form.
